Localization Team
Engineers
Our engineers are responsible for the maintenance of the databases used by the CAT tools and for the analysis of the material furnished by the customer. In addition, they perform the compilations for the interface and the help-system, as well as testing the final product.
Translators
Although it is a team effort, it is really the translators that are responsible for the quality of the product. They not only need an impeccable knowledge of the languages involved, but they also need to have mastered the tools used, as well as having adapted themselves to different subjects and processes involved in each particular project. They work on a team and are coordinated by a lead-translator who defines the style and all the terminology that is to be used everywhere on the project.
Desktop Publishers
Desktop publishers are the professionals responsible for the graphic parts of the products. They produce localized images and check the formatting and styles in the documentation. They are also responsible for adapting the printed material whenever necessary in order to keep the reader's attention and to clearly communicate the necessary information.
Project Managers
Project Managers are responsible for coordinating all the necessary resources for product localization. They control the budgets and the deadlines, in addition to adapting the procedures to the natural variations that a project itself undergoes over time. They must have an in-depth working knowledge of every resource, and be able to identify beforehand possible problems that could compromise the desired results.
